It is a natural health tonic that is being used in folk medicine as a remedy for centuries. The main ingredient in it is acetic acid that helps to fight the bacteria.

Have you heard of the Greek physician Hypocrites who is known as the father of medicine has even said that the combination of honey and apple cider vinegar. The combination helps to treat the symptoms of flu such as cough and sore throat. If you want to get instant relief from the throat pain, then to 1 cup of lukewarm water add a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar (to make it more effective you can even add a tablespoon of honey)

Salt Water Gargle

Gargling with salt water will provide you instant relief from sore throat. The salt water will help to reduce the swelling by pulling the water out of the tissues of the throat. To a cup of very warm water add 1 teaspoon of salt and stir it to dissolve. If you have never tried consuming coconut oil, then begin by taking 1 teaspoon (not more than 5 ml) at a given point of time. Marshmallow Root

It is used to treat sore throat and it is being used since ages to treat the bad throat and also to treat various other conditions. The roots of marshmallow contain gelatin like substance that is known as mucilage that coats and lubricates the throat when you swallow it.
