VITEEE

VITEEE is conducted by Vellore Institute of Technology for the students who are seeking admission in undergraduate engineering programs in the university. Admission is available in two campuses of the University i.e. in Vellore and Chennai. Among these campuses 5,000 B.Tech seats are available where around more than 2 lakhs candidates apply each year. Application forms of VITEEE will be available in both offline and online mode from November 1, 2018. The Eligible candidates can apply for the exam and book their slots to download their admit card in third week of March, 2019.

VITEEE Exam preparation strategy

Plan according to the syllabus: Before you start with your preparation, get well versed with the syllabus of the exam. Depending upon the subjects and topics, plan the study on a daily or weekly basis. Determine which area needs more efforts and how much time to spend on it. Understand the exam pattern and type of questions that will be asked.

Prepare a proper Timetable of study: This is the most important step while getting started with studies. The first step is to decide your short term and long term goals for your examination. Decide how many hours you will be devoting to your study. Plan the breaks between your studies. Do not overburden yourself as you need a fresh mind to study and grasp things.

Make Notes: This is a smart way of studying and helps to revise in a better way. Jot down the important formulae, topics which you can use to revise yourself during exam time. Make flash cards and micro notes for handy use during revision.

Seek Guidance: To avail the best score, you can always seek guidance from the coaching available. It can be either online or offline mode. It will guide with a good strategy to adopt while preparing for the exam.

Preparation by giving Mock Tests: Before giving your final examination, it is must that you give mock tests. Mock tests boost your preparations and help you work on your weaknesses. It helps to analyze and improve your performance and time management. You can appear for a series of mock test. So just keep practicing as there is no shortcut for this.

Time Management: Time management will help you to focus and attempt maximum questions during the exam. It will help to identify which question needs maximum time to solve and easier questions can be solved in less time. If you come across the complex question, you can devote the time accordingly and focus on solving other easy questions.

Stay focused: This is the most important key to success. Stay focused! There are ample distractions around you like meeting friends, your favourite TV show or even talking to friends. Make sure that you don’t entertain any distractions like phone calls, or visitors while studying.

Know your strengths and Weakness: Getting to know your strength and weakness will help you in finding loopholes in your concepts. Working and probing questions on the concepts in which you are weak, asking doubts will help you get expertise in it. So jot down your weak and strong points and start working on it accordingly. Do not leave any stone unturned!

Do not get Panic: It is important to enjoy whatever you are learning. It usually occurs that due to high pressure, students end up having panic moments. The best way to avoid this panic moment is by overcoming it. Hard work is the only key factor for success. Push harder and believe in yourself is the only mantra to achieve success.
